New York City a.k.a. the Big Apple!!

Last weekend we went on a little mini vacation with Seans family to New York city! We had so much fun! Seans parents had a lot planned for us and we got to do a lot of things while we were there. We stayed in a hotel that was right in time square so we were right in the middle of everything!

The next day was a busy day! We went to one of the tallest buildings in the world! The Empire State Building! we took an elevator to the top to get a birds eye view of the city. It was such a beautiful day, you could see for miles!

After we did that, we took a boat cruise of the Hudson Bay, past the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and the city.

Ellis Island. The guide was telling us all about this place and it is absolutely amazing how many people came through here.

We went to dinner at a great resturaunt on the roof of the Rockafeller Building called the Rainbow room. We ate with a great view of the Empire State Building.

Then we went and saw the musical Wicked!!! It was awesome!!! One of the best shows I have ever seen! Even Sean loved it and he usually doesn't like things like that. All I can say is WOW!!

West Wing Tour

A few weeks ago we got to go on a tour of the the west wing with Seans family given by Secretary Leavitt. It was really facinating and something that we have never done before! The whole tour was beautiful!

We couldn't really take pictures inside but we could take pictures outside. Our first stop was the Rose garden which was beuatiful! The President often does formal meetings there and it is right outside the Oval Office.

We also got to go check out the Press Room where the president addresses all the important issues and does his press conferences. Sean had fun in this room :)
