Dear Friends & Family,
Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year from the Neumann’s!! We are putting out our first ever Christmas Letter to help us keep in touch and updated with all of our Family and Friends.
This year is the first full year Sean and I have been married! One year down… hopefully we last at least a couple more! 2008 has been a great year for us, full of many wonderful opportunities and definitely LOTS of change!
Sean has spent the year going to school full time at UVU, majoring in Political Science and working at APX selling alarm systems. He has done really well there and everyone at his work absolutely loves him and knows him as a Jokester. He likes working there but is ready to be done and move onto something new. Luckily for him he is graduating at the end of December!!! I can’t tell you how excited he is to have no more tests! He has worked so hard and done really well in all of his classes and I am sure he will be just as successful in the business world.
I started the year working at a local Charter school and decided that teaching was not for me! This fall I have been working a few jobs here and there and have also been working for a friend of mine, doing retail and Christmas Orders for her local store.
This past summer we had a lot of opportunities to travel and vacation with our families, which was a lot of fun for us. We went house boating at Lake Powell with my family before we left to go to Virginia for the summer. We were both able to find internships out in D.C. for a few weeks. Sean worked for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) in their External Affairs department and I worked with a company called Bogart Associates doing event planning and fundraising for Congressmen. We both had a great time and were able to meet a lot of good contacts and gain some good experience for the future. We were also able to take trip to New York where we saw “Wicked” which I absolutely LOVED and even Sean like it! (he usually doesn’t like musicals). We had a really fun time staying with the Neumann’s and are grateful for their hospitality.
Now for our BIG news…We are moving to the D.C. area for GOOD! We have started packing and are making the trip around the first of the year (maybe not the best time for it but oh well!) We are sad to move away from my family but excited to be able to start a new phase of our lives!! We would love to have visitors so please feel free to come and visit us anytime!!
We have had such a great year and our lives have been filled with so much fun and joy because of YOU! We have been so blessed with such great family and friends. We hope that you are happy and that this upcoming New Year will be filled with joy and happiness for you.
All Our Love,
Sean and Cambria
