Strawberry Cabin Trip

This past weekend Sean and I went with my parents and my two sisters up to our cabin near Strawberry Resivour. It is way up in the mountians and has an amazing view of the lake below. In the winter, there is so much snow up there that you can't drive up; You have to drive snowmobiles up to the cabin.!! Its great! Unfortunately, it was too early and there was not much snow up there yet. The View from just down the road Sean testing out the four wheeler. Inside its really cozy, still heated mostly by a wood -burning stove! On Saturday we loaded up the four wheelers again and the seven of us went to a nearby National Park to go for a long ride. We unloaded and took off for an adventure!

We rode through the woods and much to Seans dissapointment didnt see any bears.. ha ha he was set on seeing one. But we went to the top of the mountain and saw some more gorgeous views!!!

The view from the top was encredible and it was such a beutiful sunny day. We had a great time with everyone.

We had a great time and cant wait to go up agian over Christmas break and go snowmobiling and play in all that snow!

Grateful!

I have been thinking a lot lately about how blessed we have been and I want to share with you some of the things that I am grateful for!
I am so grateful for Sean. He is such a wonderful husband and my best friend. He works so hard at school and at work to take care of our little family! He is my best friend and I am looking forward to all the years we have to spend together!
I am also grateful for both of our families! Both of our parents are so wonderful and have been so helpful and supportive of us. We constantly look to them for guidance and advice! Our brothers and sisters (including in-laws!) are great! I married into a great family and am grateful for the friendship and relationships that I have developed with Sean’s family. They are all such a joy in our lives!
Lately I have realized just how guided our lives have been. The past few months we have had to make a lot of decisions that will affect our future. We knew we were going to eventually end up in DC but had no idea when. We didn’t know about jobs, housing, money etc. Looking back we have really been able to see how God has guided our lives. When we came back here, we had a hard time finding housing. We finally were able to find something that was a great deal without a contract which was perfect for us, not knowing when we were going to leave. I looked for a job for three months without any luck, now I found something to keep me busy and that will end at the end of the year. Everything that has seemed like a trial has really ended up a blessing, enabling us to go back to DC at the end of the year. I am just so grateful for everything that has seemed hard, but has turned out to be a blessing! It makes me really excited for the future! Bring it on!!!

Fall 2008

So maybe Im no so good at this blog thing. I have not updated our blog for like 3 months!!! Sorry guys!!
We moved back to Utah in the middle of August
to a little basement apartment in Lehi. Its a one bedroom, one bath with a kitchen and living room. Its small but cozy and we love the location! It is close to everything that we need!! We still have our love sac which we LOVE and use all the time and we also had a new addition to our furniture... we got a new couch!!

Our bedroom

Kitchen area, I like it Becuase I can be making dinner and still be see everything. My last kitchen was like a cave!

Sean is in his last Semester of School at UVU ( I cant tell you how excited he is to be done!) and working at APX still. I am doing some odds and ends and Doing the Christmas retail for a store called Kneaders in Provo.

Besides school and our jobs we have been keeping pleny busy! We have season Tickets with David and Cameron to the BYU football games and have been going to those. We both love football games so that has been re
lly fun for us! And we love being with our friends and David and Cameron are some of our oldest!

With David before one of his famos Parties! It was a cocktail party and everyone had to dress up. David calls that white suit his cocktail suit.

For halloween we hung out and carved Pumpkins with our good friends and cousins Jeff and Lindsey Snow and Matt and Brittney.

I Cheated and used a pattern off the internet, so did everyone else, except for Sean. He wanted his to be a real original jack-o-lantern, and they all turned out to be great!

The Finished Products!!! Lindsey and Jeff did the Skull, Matt and Britt did the Ghost on the lower left hand side, mine is the ghost on the top right and Sean did the one on the lower right. I think it is cute! We put our pumpkins out on Halloween hoping kids would stop by, but we live on a busy street and we didnt even get ONE!! Sad!!

Well we have been having a lot of fun. Life is so fun and we are trying to live it up! We are really happy and enjoying this stage of life and trying to get ready for whatever may come in our future!
